Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is accountable for leading strategy, planning, and results for our CDMO lab services and drug product business verticals. We are looking for an experienced marketer who understands the life sciences industry with knowledge of the drug discovery journey. This role is offering strategic marketing leadership around analytical testing & development, sterile fill-finish, oral solid manufacturing, packaging, microbiology, and environmental monitoring. This is a core marketing leadership position that includes driving business strategy, portfolio and lifecycle management, forecasting, pricing, and business development and sales support objectives. This role will report directly to the VP of Marketing.

Essential Function

The ideal candidate will own and drive the core business strategy and execution. This includes deep knowledge of industry macro and micro trends, peer groups and competitors, client and end user journeys and new opportunities for growth. This person understands how to build a comprehensive marketing plan and communicate it to the broader organization.

Not only will this Manager be the go-to expert on the market, competition, and customers, but they will also need to be a leader in cross-collaboration with other departments to understand the limitations, capabilities, and constraints for success in achieving the objective. This requires exceptional communication skills and organizational expertise.

Some of the key deliverables include driving and helping create technical content for the website, social media, business development and other marketing channels including products specifications, white papers, webinars, price lists, testing data, presentations, and any other technical information.

This Manager will work closely with the digital lead, tradeshow team, business development and communications manager to understand customer behavior and help improve the success-rate and sales of services and products.

They will be responsible for owning deadlines and budgetary requirements.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field

5 years' experience in strategic marketing and/or product management in a LifeScience/Healthcare company

Experience in CDMO, CMO, CRO, Pharma R&D a plus

Functional Competencies

The candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience with product management in CDMO, CMO, CRO, Pharma, Life Science companies

Demonstrated experience in bringing innovation to a service-based business.
