Marketing Manager - Account Based Marketing (Americas Marketing)

The America's Lead Management team is looking for an experienced campaign marketing manager to lead our Account Based Marketing initiatives. You will work with your Sales and Marketing team colleagues to develop, design, and execute Account Based Marketing programs. Sales will select accounts and set ABM objectives by account or groups of accounts; you will work as partner, organizer, facilitator, and serve as "mission control" for all execution and results tracking.

Prefer candidate in the Phoenix metro area.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Sales leadership, you will help identify account candidates for one-to-one and one-to-few ABM campaigns and define clear and measurable ABM objectives for each account or groups of accounts.
  • Using core messaging hooks from Sales, you'll work with Marketing teams to expand/elaborate on those messages based on account contact profiles and ABM objectives; the core messaging will be used across all tactics.
  • Work with Marketing cross-functional teams to plan, build, and execute ABM outreach sequences, employing a variety of tactics including digital advertising, sequenced email, direct mail, Sales outreach, and others. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in any of these areas (or other marketing specialties)
  • Identify existing content that will support messaging in the ABM sequence; identify gaps for future development. When possible, map and coordinate content to different buyer journeys based on profiles and data derived from supporting tech tools (ZoomInfo).
  • Utilize ZoomInfo Marketing tool to identify individual contacts and build the best lists possible.
  • Organize weekly meetings with teams from Sales and Marketing to keep projects on track.
  • Align with senior Sales leadership and other executives, communicate upcoming ABM campaign plans, results and lessons learned from past campaigns, enablement materials, and training sessions.
  • Measure, analyze and regularly report on the impact of ABM campaigns on strategic accounts, buying groups, and contacts, as well as performance against core business KPIs.
  • You will help get our ABM program off the ground, but in the future, you will apply an experimentation mindset to ABM campaigns to drive, test, learn, and optimize

Job Level Specifications:

  • Campaign marketer with strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and prioritization.
  • Demonstrated experience working with both Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of ABM tactics, metrics, and measurements and how they relate to enterprise buying cycles, Sales processes, and stakeholders.
  • Must be marketing tech-savvy and comfortable using Marketing and Sales platforms (ZoomInfo, Marketo, Salesforce, and related)
  • Prior ABM training (Sirius Decisions training or other) preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Presentation skills
  • Understanding lead lifecycle concepts (the typical marketing and sales funnels) is a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, effective time and project management skills, meticulous attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve, a people-first attitude, and a positive can-do mindset

  • Extensive knowledge and application of principles, theories, and concepts. Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires in-depth evaluation of variables. Determine best approach to achieve results and provide suggestions to improve policies and procedures.
  • Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Work may be reviewed at a high-level.
  • May represent the organization as a primary contact on assignments and/or projects. Interacts with senior professionals and management and frequently coordinates work between departments or organizations.
  • Actions may impact the organization. Failure to accomplish work will result in the inability to reach crucial organizational goals. Erroneous decisions may have a prolonged effect resulting in the expenditure of substantial resources.

Work Experience:

  • Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

  • 3-5 years of Marketing campaign experience required (work on ABM campaigns during that time strongly preferred).
  • Deep understanding of ABM tactics, metrics, and measurements and how they relate to enterprise buying cycles, Sales processes, and stakeholders.
