Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for large and small group businesses through the state of Oklahoma by fostering a high-performance a "member centric" and "performance driven" culture to meet membership targets. Develop deep relationships with brokers, businesses and community leaders to generate leads. Manage the sales pipeline, sponsor and support local events, educate brokers, plan for Community Care's expansion into new counties and facilitate the hand off of sold groups to the Account Management team. Oversee and manage the daily activities of the Account Executive team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual membership targets.
- Manages sales process end to end, including lead generation, opportunity development, proposal development, negotiation, implementation and 90 days of support post sale.
- Manages all commercial new sales growth for the organization. Revenue generation and internal/external accountability to company and industry standards. Works closely with brokers to ensure education of products, networks, pricing and other offerings. Makes recommendations to senior leadership on new products/networks/pricing needed to achieve goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of individual team members against established goals.
- Communicates effectively and works internally to ensure timely and appropriate communications with key departments, such as underwriting, enrollment, configuration, and marketing operations.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and training to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team
- Implement performance improvement plans as needed to address individual and team performance issues
- Responsible for managing sales department training, work schedules, performance management, internal/external communication, and dashboard metrics.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, detailing key performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify opportunities for process optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to effectively develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with and through personnel at all levels in accomplishing objectives, to motivate personnel, and to accomplish desired results through others.
- Proficient presentation and public speaking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Check.
- Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance verification.
- Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- At least seven years of progressively responsible related experience in marketing, insurance or related areas.
- Previous work experience with insurance companies, employer groups and agent/brokers.
- Licensed Life and Health insurance agent in state of Oklahoma OR ability to obtain license within 45 days after hire date.
