Marketing Manager, Georgia Power Community & Economic Development
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead strategic and creative marketing initiatives for our Community & Economic Development team. You'll help us support business and community growth in Georgia by developing marketing strategies that reach our audiences across our channels.
** We are looking for 10 years of experience related to marketing.
As our Marketing Manager , we'll count on you to:
- Lead and develop a highly creative team that includes a Content Producer and Marketing Program Manager as a well as a seasonal intern.
- Create customer-focused marketing strategies that support organizational goals and deliver an impactful brand experience at every customer touchpoint.
- Drive the creation of our content strategy and collaborate with the team to produce content that aligns with the brand and resonates with prospects, communities, and customers across all marketing channels.
- Lead the ongoing improvement and impact of the organization's websites, social media channels, and brand experiences at the Georgia Experience Center, a state-of-the-art center that is ground zero for supporting the state and attracting and locating companies and expansions.
- Collaborate with and manage vendors and contractors to fulfill creative services requests and complete initiatives outlined in strategies.
- Work with internal and external partners to coordinate marketing efforts to support large, multi-faceted programs and initiatives.
- Lead and successfully manage large-scale and high-profile projects and activations, working with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to build and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
- Maximize the use of integrated marketing and campaigns including traditional, social, and digital marketing channels (paid and owned) to increase awareness and program goals.
- Define and communicate success metrics for all initiatives, aligned to company and organizational goals. Use marketing analytics skillset to track performance to make sure initiatives deliver expected business outcomes.
- Explore and recommend innovative new ideas, technologies, and processes that position our team as industry leaders.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Experience owning and managing digital channels - websites, social media, paid search etc.
- 10 years of experience related to marketing.
- Strategic mindset and ability to ask hard questions to ensure work is based on goals, outcomes, and customer needs.
- A natural collaborator with team, customers, and partners. A true team mindset.
- Experience managing vendors and contractors.
- Experience managing budgets.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to try new ideas.
- A commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- A passion for discovering new marketing trends, technologies, and digital strategies.
- An interest in working with an amazing team and helping people solve problems with creative solutions.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Business degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Masters degree preferred but not required.
