The Marketing Manager works independently to support Inari's product position and success in the marketplace. This ownership includes product launch planning and execution, including but not limited to market segmentation, targeting, product positioning, key messaging, pricing, profitability, competitive differentiation, and campaign development. In addition, the Marketing Manager drives marketing strategies, messaging, and content creation through collaboration with the cross- functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive sales training plans on positioning and messaging for products, indication expansions, or data releases.
- Lead tradeshow activities for product, and support in person where required.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant literature and competitive landscape.
- Ensure that key commercial objectives are exceeded for the assigned product line.
- Analyze and report regularly on product performance via highly data driven metrics.
- Work closely with key opinion leaders to maximize their participation in launch activities and educational events.
- Manage project budgets and quickly analyze data to determine ROI on marketing programs and modify programs accordingly.
- Manage inventory and demo unit needs tightly with product iterations and LMR rollouts in a predictable and transparent manner.
- Create and manage KOL network to support new account launch activities, publications, and podium talks at key tradeshows.
- Formulate new downstream promotional strategies and execute to drive market adoption and growth based on competitive marketplace activity.
- Routinely communicate with the sales force regarding product updates and availability, competitive activity, sales positioning, messaging, best practices.
- Drive all marketing deliverables including business plans, pricing, positioning, promotional strategies, launch activities and advising on future product developments.
- Work closely with marketing agencies and vendors in the development of promotional content.
- This position must be able to communicate with all areas of the company and will interact on a regular basis with QA/RA, Med Affairs, Medical Education, Clinical, Marketing, Digital marketing, Sales, Customers and Senior Leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Marketing, Business, Biological/Clinical Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of working experience required, with 3 years marketing experience in medical device preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Convert product/customer feedback into valuable insights that can help drive the development of new marketing programs.
- Demonstrated marketing acumen, with both analytical and creative skills.
- Competently represent the Company at professional functions and customer meetings.
- Excellent advocacy and persuasive skills.
- Healthy disdain for the status quo, and a willingness to question existing practices to identify better alternatives.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary.
- Succeed in a rapidly changing, agile environment where continuous innovation is requisite to success.
- Plan and manage at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Succeed and be effective in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred
- Medical device sales experience.
- Salesforce experience.
Inari Medical offers competitive health and wealth benefits for our employees. The base pay range for this position is $125,000-155,000 an hour. A range of factors, including location, skills, and experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
