Marketing Manager, Global Campaigns
Job Description
commercetools - we are:
- The competitive sort: We didn’t become the fastest growing, highest ever valued SaaS software company in digital commerce with nearly 100% year-over-year growth by sitting on the sidelines.
- Inspired: Continually exploring what’s possible — the innovators of headless commerce, the visionaries behind MACH — our patented tech has radically disrupted the world of enterprise ecommerce software - and we are just getting started.
- Valued: Smart, strong, passionate individuals hailing from over 50 countries across the globe, speaking over 43 languages, and collectively embracing diversity, encouraging inclusion, and fostering a culture of caring.
- Driven: We push the limits, technology, and ourselves to retain the trust of some of the world’s leading and fastest growing brands every single day.
The Opportunity:
commercetools is seeking a revenue-centric Marketing Manager who will engage potential customers and get them excited about our next generation commerce platform! You will create, implement, and manage global programs that will help us reach new markets, create buzz, and most importantly contribute to the pipeline for our sales organization.
In this role, you will report to our Global Head of Marketing Programs and collaborate with the entire marketing department to support these global campaigns; however, you will have a special focus on collaboration with the Field and Partner Marketing teams. Throughout the duration of the campaign, you will use data and analytic tools to track, measure, and tweak as necessary to achieve desired goals.
Our Marketing Manager must work EST hours
Your Mission:
You will make an impact through engaging marketing campaigns by generating awareness in the market and attracting new customers. Day to day, you will use your enthusiasm and passion for excellence in marketing to:
- Develop, maintain, and carry out demand generation plans aligned with regional and global goals
- Develop a deep understanding of customers, products, and the buyer’s journey
- Work closely with other departments to build cross-functional cohesion
- Ensure that content reaches the right part of the buyer journey at the right time
- Leverage our modern marketing stack including Hubspot, 6Sense, and Asana to streamline, automate, and measure all marketing tasks and workflows
- Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance
What you need to succeed:
- Campaign management experience (leading by doing): 3+ years in a campaign management or demand generation role in a high-tech organization, preferably cloud-based software. Experience building B2B campaigns targeting decision makers and influencers in mid-size and enterprise organizations, and project management experience.
- Communication experience (speak, read, write): excellent interpersonal skills are key to maintain relationships, persuade, and work with a global, highly diverse organization.
- Project management experience (get it done attitude): the ability to meet established time frames for multiple projects and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns. You will need to guide the output effectively and intervene if things are going off-track.
- Data experience (analyze and optimize): you should be good with words and numbers. You will target selected groups, as well as analyze the campaign. If you don’t know where you’ve been, you can’t get to where you’re going.
Nice to Have:
- While experience with Hubspot and Salesforce are required, use of additional martech tools (Asana, Drift, ZoomInfo) are a major plus
- Additional certificates or courses in modern marketing techniques (Hubspot, data analytics, project management, etc)
- Experience in a commerce-related area
