Job DescriptionWhat are we looking for?Â
HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition by Informa Markets is looking for a Marketing Manager, Content and Conference. At HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition, we believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work. This role is a key contributor to influencing attendance growth for the overall event through the focused promotion of the conference and education program. This role will lead conference marketing activities, managing deliverables, budget, tracking and reporting, and will also be responsible for maintaining and coordinating all related marketing deadlines within internal teams. The ideal candidate will be collaborative in nature, with a demonstrated sense of urgency, and have experience in marketing to executive and senior leadership audiences in healthcare IT. They will also have experience in planning and executing deliverables including copywriting, email creation and website updates in a timely manner.Â
Roles & Responsibilities:Â
- Manage annual promotional schedules for conference program marketing ensuring deadlines are metÂ
- Weekly reporting of marketing activities to key stakeholdersÂ
- Oversee marketing for conference program including schedules and speakersÂ
- Write compelling copy for web, email, search campaigns, display advertisements, and social media surrounding marketing the conference programÂ
- Manage production of printed collateral distributed on-siteÂ
- Collaborate with internal and external design teams to maintain campaign consistencyÂ
- Work directly on audience development programs to grow conference registrationÂ
- Work with Content and Programming team to define key segments that align with conference themesÂ
- Establish audience personas and messaging based on identified segmentsÂ
- Analysis of cost per registration and tracking of registrations by marketing channelÂ
- Be front-facing, professional and attentive at in-person eventÂ
- Travel to industry events as neededÂ
- Special projects as neededÂ
- 3-6 years of experience in marketing related positionsÂ
- Ability to develop and manage budgets and multiple project timelinesÂ
- Experience marketing within healthcare or health ITÂ
- High level of proficiency in the use of computer software including Microsoft and Adobe products (Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus)Â
- Experience with marketing automation tools (Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot) for multi-step email campaignsÂ
- Experience with content management systems to update website content (AEM, WordPress, Wix)Â
- Experience with Analytics tools for measuring web performance (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)Â
- Experience with social media management tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite)Â
- Superior attention to detail and outstanding organizational and prioritization skillsÂ
- Experience identifying process improvement and being adaptable to changeÂ
- Excellent copywriting skills to be utilized for attendee and exhibitor marketing campaigns across niche B2B marketsÂ
- Strong team player who interacts well with external clients, vendors, and internal teamsÂ
- Previous tradeshow or conference experience strongly preferredÂ

- The pay range for this position is $76,500Â - $95,000 depending on experience.Â
