POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing Manager I is responsible for coordinating projects and developing tools that support Gentex's marketing and corporate communications initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the execution of the marketing and corporate communication direction and strategy.
• Produce strong, compelling, and effective print and digital marketing and corporate communications tools.
• Assist with event coordination, research, competitive intelligence, and benchmarking projects.
• Participate on cross-functional teams to help determine and execute marketing and corporate communications initiatives.
• Manage projects according to established timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate the activities of external marketing and corporate communications vendors.
• Ensure that marketing and corporate communications projects follow establish branding guidelines.
• Maintain digital marketing brand assets, including photos and videos, sales tool libraries, and online repositories/sharing platforms.
• Support the daily, monthly, and quarterly communication deliverables requested by other internal departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Project management - Applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to manage and meet project requirements.
• Communicating effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey clear understanding, taking into account the unique needs of different audiences.
• Maintaining high level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality with respect to company matters.
• Complying with all company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.

WHAT TO BRING

• 4-year degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing marketing/communications projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience managing third-party vendor relationships.

WHAT WILL HELP

• Writing experience, including researching, planning, outlining, grammatical and compositional skills, and editing.
• Experience with web site creation, content management systems, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Photography, videography, or video production management experience.
• Social media management experience.
