Marketing Manager - New Markets
Job Description
Southern Veterinary Partners is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing, dynamic marketing team, and lead the go-to-market and organic growth strategy for our DeNovo/new-to-market veterinary practices. As a proactive and innovative marketer, you will be responsible for driving demand prior to store openings, spearheading the marketing strategy to ensure a successful launch, and implementing plans for sustained growth post-opening. You will not manage direct reports, but will collaborate across the company and with multiple vendors to accomplish go-to-market goals and grow your hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies, leveraging organic growth tactics, paid media, direct marketing, and public relations to drive brand awareness and demand generation.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across paid media, social media, and SEO to drive online awareness and in-store traffic. Leverage analytics to optimize campaigns and ensure high ROI.
- Utilize digital channels, including SEO, social media, and paid advertising, to enhance visibility and engage target audiences effectively.
- Analyze market trends and performance data to adapt strategies, ensuring marketing efforts meet business goals.
- Public Relations and Local Media: Craft and implement PR strategies to generate buzz and build anticipation in new markets. Establish relationships with local media outlets and influencers to maximize visibility and credibility.
- Hospital Manager Support: Provide hospital managers with the necessary marketing toolkits and campaigns they can execute at a local level, including promotional events, local partnerships, and community events.
- Incentive Programs: Design and implement effective incentive programs to drive sales and customer loyalty. Ensure these programs are easily executable by store managers and appealing to the target audience.
- Community Engagement: Lead initiatives to engage the local community and build a loyal customer base. This could include local events, sponsorships, and collaborations with community organizations.
- Collaborate with teams across the company to gather insights and ensure marketing strategies are aligned with company goals and market needs.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to maintain alignment, gather feedback, and ensure cohesive brand messaging across all initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a strong background in digital marketing, paid media, and direct marketing.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement.
- Proven experience with core marketing tools, capabilities, and technologies, such as SEO, SEM, web content management systems, CRM/Email/SMS marketing, digital analytics suites, direct mail, community/local engagement tools, PR systems like Meltwater.
- Strong analytical skills, with the capability to use data to inform marketing decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Proven experience managing multiple simultaneous complex projects.
- Experience launching new businesses in-market a plus.
