We're looking for an experienced, high performing individual to join our marketing team as the Marketing Manager for commercial offerings for our oncology team. The Marketing Manager will help launch marketing campaigns to raise awareness about Tempus and our solutions. The Marketing Manager will also analyze results of the campaigns to evaluate what is working and how product launches to continuously improve future offerings.Â
The role requires the candidate to have product marketing experience in the diagnostic space, ideally with an oncology background, excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have previously led product marketing operations at a healthcare technology company.Â
Key responsibilities
- Develop easy-to-understand, compelling product messages from technical product specifications and scientific evidence
- Create show-stopping marketing campaigns that drive product awareness and generate high interestÂ
- Produce Sales and Marketing collateral and support with message development for all product launches and current portfolio
- Research, design and develop clinical and technical product curricula to support Sales education
- Work cross-functionally with commercial team members (marketing, sales, legal, medical, regulatory, business and sales operations, etc.) to develop and execute marketing programs and sales enablement materials in support of the testing portfolio and business goals
- Collaborate across functional groups to ensure alignment and coordination of marketing activities
- Serves as key Marketing and L&D point of contact for the day to day operations, programs and information needs related to the testing portfolio
- Plan, develop and conduct sales force engagement events (NSM, regional meetings, conference calls, etc.) related to product marketing and sales
- Effectively interacts and collaborates with the sales team to identify, address and respond to key external customer needs
- Contributes to the annual strategic plan and maximizes potentialÂ
- Interpret and translates scientific clinical data into commercial applications
- Monitors and reports on competitive activity
- Assists in conference, peer-2-peer and digital strategies
- Works with Medical/Legal/Regulatory teams
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience in the healthcare, biopharma, oncology or diagnostic space, targeting healthcare providers
- Market analysis and competitive analysis experienceÂ
- Exceptional storyteller and communicator capable of explaining complex scientific and technical concepts in simple terms
- Outstanding cross-functional leadership skills, with proven experience managing complex projects through influence
- Entrepreneurial spirit, to roll up your sleeves and work on everything from strategy to creating copy for one-pagers.Â
- Self-starter, excellent problem-solving skills.
- High degree of self-awareness, confidence, organizational, communication and anticipatory skills
