Grubhub is looking for an analytical and energetic Manager of Paid Search for our B2B (Restaurant & Corporate Accounts) and Driver businesses. The Paid Search Manager will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for our large-scale and complex paid search campaigns to deliver meaningful impact and growth to each line of business. An excellent communicator, this individual is also process-driven, analytically oriented, and loves using data to make decisions. We are looking for someone who is excited to develop and drive a roadmap that champions efficient expansion through new ideas, re-thinking existing approaches to these channels.This pivotal new role will foster relationships with Grubhub's various external vendors (i.e. Google, Microsoft, SA360, Apple Search) and in-house departments as a subject matter expert. This role will manage one direct report.

The Impact You Will Make
- Own the end-to-end roadmap and operation for multi-market paid search campaigns, working collaboratively with B2B marketing counterparts to translate strategic vision into documented, tactical solutions and results
- Lead, inspire and develop your direct report(s) to establish goals, execute with excellence and create accountability for results
- Guide B2B (Driver, Restaurant, Corporate) teams with campaign planning, execution, and reporting-understanding the unique goals and requirements of each team
- Ensure paid campaigns adhere to best practices and meet campaign objectives through hands-on, day to day adjustments in ad platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360), including but not limited to: keyword expansion efforts, ad copy creation & testing, bidding updates and landing page testing
- Direct and implement technical requirements for ad tracking and measurement across app and web experiences via methods and systems such as Appsflyer, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, conversion pixels, and more
- Optimize campaigns daily/weekly/quarterly for optimal budget management
- Seek opportunities for growth through competitive research, trend insights, beta participation, and self-guided experimentation, reporting findings and taking action on improvements
- Create and analyze reports to uncover data trends, ensure campaign goals are achieved, and translate the data into actionable recommendations
- Leverage 3rd party bid management tools to improve effectiveness of our bidding strategy and operational efficiency
What You Bring to the Table
- 8+ years experience hands-on management of multi-million dollar paid search accounts with experience in B2B and/or recruitment a plus
- 3+ years of people management experience
- A proven analytical track record with a bias for developing data-driven solutions working with advanced user capability in Excel
- Strong communication skills: ability to clearly communicate results, key learnings & opportunities
- In depth understanding of automated bid strategies with experience optimizing towards CPA or ROAS goals preferred
- Proficiency with 3rd party campaign management tools like Search Ads 360, Kenshoo, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with search engine marketing (SEM, GDN, Discovery, Performance Max, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, statistics or other related field
- Familiarity PPC and SEO relationship for optimal media mix
- Recent Google Ads Search Certification
- Eager to jump in and execute plans on a small and scrappy team; a start-up mindset
- Ability to operate in a very fast-paced environment across large, cross-functional teams with ambiguity
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing

- Experience using Firebug, TagAssistant, or other tag debugging tools
- Experiencing writing SQL queries
- Experience using feed management tools
- Familiar with building and interpreting cohort analysis
- Experience managing local SEM programs
- Familiar with building Tableau reports
