Job Description

We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to be a player-coach and manage marketing efforts for a soon-to-be standalone organization, TalentNeuron. TalentNeuron is the leading labor market analytics and advisory services to make data-backed, strategic talent decisions. Reporting to the Head of Advisory & Operations the Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention. He/she will develop a deep understanding of the product offering to create innovative and engaging demand generation campaigns to drive growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Product Marketing
    • Partner with product teams to develop a deep understanding of storylines and product offerings
    • Collaborate with product, sales, and service to develop compelling product messaging & positioning that showcases the value proposition to key client and prospect segments
    • Produce sales collateral, pitch decks, and other sales playbooks/tools to accelerate the sales cycle
    • Create and maintain central repository for scripting and sales support tools along with supporting sales training sessions
  • Demand Generation
    • Create and manage annual marketing campaign calendar to drive brand awareness and demand generation
    • Manage direct report in India & relationships with external agencies and contractors to develop campaigns
    • Launch and optimize paid marketing efforts including SEM, paid social, display ads, and 3rd party partnerships
    • Manage email marketing campaign & nurture strategy by creating calendar and overseeing direct report
    • Write and maintain public website content and lead generation campaign pages with strong SEO foundations
    • Partner with research & advisory to create content and manage the content marketing strategy - creating ebooks, blog posts, videos, infographics
    • Manage the webinar program - co-creating content with thought leaders, driving registrations, managing event day-of
    • Regularly review marketing performance using metrics and analytics, making recommendations and adapting marketing plans to incorporate best practices
  • Retention Marketing
    • Manage the editorial calendar for client communications in coordination with product and advisory
    • Oversee the execution of email campaigns to clients
    • Support content updates to the client site in alignment with overall go-to-market messages
    • Partner with product on developing messaging / communications for releases, enhancements and new features

A successful candidate will possess:

  • BS/BA degree
  • 6+ years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in a B2B SAAS environment. Experience at a start-up is a plus
  • 2+ years of management or peer coach experience preferred
  • Energy and positive attitude to work with varying stakeholders in highly ambiguous environments
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently - Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness
  • Excellent program, project and time management and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize what matters most
  • Strong written, editing and oral communications skills with ability to present self intelligently to senior leadership
  • Ability to learn substance of data insights quickly; Ability to graphically depict key insights
  • Ability to assess complex market landscape and synthesize competitive information to inform marketing strategy
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a highly distributed, hybrid organization with global teams
