The Regional Marketing Manager manages the development and implementation of marketing programs and supports brand management activities, as well as the deployment of strategic and commercial initiatives for Dentsply Sirona products within the North American Commercial Organization. Provides local support and guidance regarding new product launches, product training, clinical education and marketing activities for assigned product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Introduces new products for the respective product category in the market including development, implementation and execution of market introduction plans
  • Planning and execution of in-country product marketing activities related to the respective product portfolio
  • Developing and communicating forecasting for respective product line
  • Provides expertise in product area and develops strategies and applicable portions of the company business plan.
  • Plans, organizes and coordinates assigned programs to ensure accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals and optimum allocation of resources; including analysis for pricing and margin decisions.
  • Coordinates product introduction and market exploitation with marketing and sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration of market segment.
  • Provides continuing product surveillance and management of established product to obtain financial objectives.
  • Maintains a strong communication channel from the sales representatives to business unit platform
  • Presents information to various audiences, comprising of dealer personnel, sales managers and clinical end users
  • Assists with strategic plan development
  • Manages effective communications to the sales force and dealer organizations
  • Supports marketing and sales training programs throughout the sales organization and with dealer specialists and internal and external sales representatives
  • Helps defining promotional activities, publicizing the product through the press, sales force and alternate distribution channels.
  • Identify, develop and foster KOL relationships
  • Assists with the market research, definition and documentation of the respective commercial market to support product management
  • Collect business intelligence related to the commercial organization (competition and prices, business environment, distribution networks, promotions, new product launches) to influence product portfolio and positioning needs

Education: BS degree in Marketing, Engineering or Communications from an Accredited University or College

Years and Type of Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of product management or product marketing experience desired, preferably with some concentration on dental and/or medical equipment.

Key Required Knowledge, Qualifications and Capabilities:

  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Knowledge and experience in the dental industry would be a plus.
  • Ability to multi task.

Required Computer Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Internet and Email applications; Project Management Software a plus.

Required Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, algebra and geometry; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, especially relative to third party research.
  • Strong business acumen.

Required Communication Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents including complex product and service propositions.
  • Ability to develop speeches/presentations using innovative techniques.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and/or boards of directors.

Required Reasoning Ability Skills:

  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism in its most difficult phases.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

*The salary for this remote role is between $115,000 and $120,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.*
