What You’ll Do: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance overall online visibility. The SEO Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing our digital presence and ensuring our web content aligns with current search engine algorithms. This role will be based out of Chicago, IL and you are required to be on-site.

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic to our websites.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.

Local SEO Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Local SEO strategies to enhance organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic to our local business locations.
  • Optimize Google My Business (GMB) profiles and other local business listings to ensure accurate information, positive reviews, and enhanced local visibility.

Citation Management:

  • Manage local business citations across online directories to ensure consistency and accuracy, positively impacting local search rankings.
  • Implement strategies to address and rectify any incorrect or outdated business information.

On-Page Optimization:

  • Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, headers, URL structures, and internal linking, to improve website relevance and crawlability.
  • Collaborate with content creators to optimize content for search engines and user experience.

Technical SEO:

  • Conduct regular site audits to identify and address technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and site speed optimization.
  • Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO recommendations and improvements.

Off-Page Optimization:

  • Monitor and manage backlink profiles, disavow harmful links, and stay abreast of industry changes affecting off-page SEO.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Conductor to analyze website performance, track key metrics, and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare regular reports on SEO performance, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and future opportunities.

Stay Current with Industry Trends:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies in SEO to ensure our strategies remain effective and compliant.

Who You Are:

  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SEO tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and improve organic search performance.
