THE ROLE: Marketing Manager, Web Content

Job Summary:

Presidio is looking for a Web Content Manager to create, develop, implement, and manage marketing website needs to help raise brand awareness, drive conversions, and achieve other various business goals.

We are looking for an innovative, self-directed, and collaborative candidate who can partner with our web development team and cross-functionally with various marketing teams to maintain and grow our web marketing presence. This candidate will also develop our traffic via SEO and SEM channels.

The ideal candidate will function as a website subject matter authority for marketers and will leverage analytics to guide improvements and be an advocate for the online customer experience. The candidate must also be able to lead conversations about strategic direction for web implementation projects and is a self-starter who can juggle a variety of competing requests, establish clear priorities, and ensure on-time completion of projects.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not require any travel. It will be based in location in the United States with preference for candidates that live in the Eastern or Central Time Zones

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and publish content for Presidio's web presence (requires working with content management system, ex: WordPress)
  • Coordinate web projects across various business departments
  • Proofread all web content and advertising copy
  • Deploy, and manage digital marketing activities including web content management, website performance, search (SEM and SEO), and display advertising to acquire and retain customers, to strengthen customer engagement, and to increase brand exposure and awareness
  • Collaborate with business owners and key stakeholders to prioritize new website functionality requests for our web development team and identify pages that should be updated or improved while ensuring the integrity of existing content is maintained
  • Improve Presidio's marketing content inventory site to enable our sales team with the latest content
  • Work closely with the content team to develop and implement SEO strategy to drive traffic to our website and improve our search engine rankings
  • Provide monthly digital KPI reports. Support with other marketing reports as assigned
  • Analyze the website user behavior, site performance, source of referrals, etc. with recommendations on improvement and growth
  • Oversee paid search and paid social strategy in collaboration with agency partners and works with internal teams as needed to report on marketing performance
  • Conduct a digital benchmark on a regular basis with key competitors to determine opportunities to improve our digital channels
  • Research and seek innovative digital opportunities
  • Other job duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Experience with various digital marketing channels and tactics, including paid search, SEO, display advertising, web, and content marketing
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and other related platforms
  • Highly organized with ability to work on multiple projects at once, successfully manage workload, meet deadlines, and deliver high quality work

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Experience with HTML, website design and development, including CMS platforms such as WordPress
  • Self-starter with strong project management, time management and cross-functional coordination skills including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with SEO Keyword Research Tool (Ex: SEMRush)
  • Curiosity and a drive to experiment with creative new digital approaches

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, website strategy, or related field, preferably in a B2B environment
