Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for Marketing Department implementation and coordination of group activity collaborate with key players to ensure each project gets the resources and attention needed to be successful. Responsible for handling correspondence with clients and communicating with other departments within the company to keep marketing campaigns on track.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for tracking relevant activity in applicable database. Compiles and prepares various reports for key players and departments. Build and maintain quality relationships with insurance agents, brokers, and consultants.
- Responsible for renewing group activity and support of Account Managers, preparing renewal letters, contracts, certificates of insurance and administration guides as requested.
- Responsible for training new and existing staff functions, processes and workflows and documenting procedures and changes.
- Responsible for post-sale and pre-sale activities that include new group submission to Underwriting, routing information to each department for proper implementation, RFP data entry and rate calculation workbook, updating all relevant systems, monitoring the RFP mailbox and process quotes.
- Responsible for general overall support department, including but not limited to cross covering for alternate team members, answering and routing incoming calls.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Organized, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently, while paying close attention to detail.
- Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
- Ability to professionally and effectively work with personnel at various levels within and outside the company.
- Ability to converse and write fluently in English.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Associates degree plus 1-year work related experience in insurance, healthcare or related field, OR High School equivalency plus 5 years of related experience.
- Licensed Life and Health insurance agent in the state of Oklahoma, OR ability to obtain license within 45 days after hire date.
