Marketing Operations Advisor

Position Overview

The Marketing Operations Advisor will be responsible for managing the finances associated with Cardinal Health's only customer facing trade show, the Retail Business Conference (RBC). RBC is a multi-million-dollar trade show that requires constant oversight of the budget and spend. This role will primarily be responsible for creating and reconciling the annual customer billing file and proposing annual attendance and budget expectations. Other RBC duties include paying invoices and tracking though the SAP system and via Credit Card. Managing exhibitor invoices and tracking down missing payments. Customer billing management, rebate estimates and sales goal setting. Non RBC duties include tracking PD sponsorship and tradeshow spend, managing advisory board expenses and sales meeting budget setting and tracking.

Specific Responsibilities

• Work with Director to set future RBC budget expectations and adjust based on location
• Reconcile RBC customer package billing with hotel billing
• Create RBC customer billing file
• Create annual sales goals document based on projected customer rebates
• Create and manage billing process for non-Retail Independent RBC customer attendees (Hospital, Specialty, National Accounts, Community Health Centers)Track all RBC spend
• Track and manage Advisory Board expenses
• Track and manage sponsorship spend associated with the National Community Pharmacists Association, American Pharmacists Association and other organizations as needed
• Maintain internal balance sheet
• Manage and track PD Marketing Services operating budget
• Ensure charges hitting are accurate and work with Finance to move charges to correct cost center or FY as needed
• Manage PD Sales Meetings budgets and track spend / set future year budgets
• Work with Comp team on RBC Sales incentives
• Support ISF organization as needed
• Create Statements of Work, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in the Buy Now system
• Pay invoices via Buy Now or Cora system as needed
• Reconcile RBC Meeting Card charges
• Receive and manage RBC vendor payments
• Manage all RBC charitable donation collections and involve Community Relations as necessary
• Oversight of RBC GMB (email)
• Other data-based projects as assigned

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree may be required
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking capability and ability to adapt to change
• Strong team player, experience in working in a team environment
• Basic Microsoft Word & PowerPoint skills
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
• Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
