How you'll make an impactĀAs a Marketing Operations Associate at SonderMind, you will provide key support in developing and executing targeted campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and retention for our clients. A core part of your role will be implementing email programs in our main marketing platforms to execute on our Lifecycle Marketing strategy. You will focus on tasks such as email creation, performance review, and database segmentation. Although experience with Marketo is preferred, similar experience with tools like Hubspot, Braze, Campaign Monitor, Active Campaign, and others will be considered. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong proofreading skills. While you won't be writing most content, you will be collaborating with the content and design teams to distribute and measure nurture programs accordingly.
Reporting directly to the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that we are reaching our audiences at the right times, with the right messages. Your work will directly contribute to the company's mission of expanding access to mental health care and improving overall outcomes for our clients.

- Within one month, you will familiarize yourself with our customer journey, marketing strategies, and current email marketing programs. You will have met with key stakeholders to understand their roles in influencing the lifecycle marketing program.
- Within two months, you will have a clear understanding of email marketing performance metrics, and you will have made recommendations for improving our email campaigns and database segmentation. At this point you will be owning the build and development of most marketing programs being sent to our clients.
- Within three months, you will have fully integrated into our team and will be providing regular support for our marketing platforms and email marketing program. You will also have contributed to the creation and execution of new email campaigns, in addition to managing existing programs.
What you'll doĀ
- Provide day-to-day support for our primary marketing platforms (Marketo, SendGrid, and Courier) by building and sending emails and managing database segmentation.
- Analyze email campaign performanceĀ and make recommendations for optimization.
- Assist in the creation and execution of nurture workflows targeted at different stages of the client journey.
- Support multi-variant testing on campaigns to improve positive business outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as product and engineering to ensure seamless integration of marketing communications.
- Contribute to the development of visually appealing and creative campaigns that drive conversion in collaboration with design and creative teams.
- Monitor client feedback from email campaigns to continuously improve client experience and marketing efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in email and lifecycle marketing.
1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Familiar with email marketing platforms such as Marketo, Courier, Hubspot, Braze, Campaign Monitor, Active Campaign, or similar
Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate various tasks and stakeholders
Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking abilities
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related fieldĀ
- HTML/CSS skills for email design and customization

The anticipated salary range for this role is $50,000- $65,000. This role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan.Ā Actual title and compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.Ā
