Marketing Operations Associate

Ibotta is seeking a Marketing Operations Associate to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This junior-level role involves daily execution of email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messages to support our marketing communication strategy. You will use marketing automation and project management tools to complete these tasks. As an entry-level associate, you will learn the fundamentals, handle basic projects, and work under the guidance of experienced team members.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office, (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

• Manage setup, QC, and launch of marketing communication and ad campaigns including but not limited to banners, push notifications, emails, SMS, and in-app messages

• Communicate effectively and impactfully with cross-functional teams

• Assist in developing optimizations to improve overall campaign performance and independently resolve performance issues

• Uphold marketing communication best practices and project management procedures

• Anticipate issues, be willing to troubleshoot, and provide alternative methods of setup or delivery

• Desire to learn and uncover innovative solutions and optimization opportunities

• Stay up to date on internal system changes and educate impacted departments effectively

• Work closely with the Marketing Analytics department to target content to unique segments of Savers

• Implement programs and optimizations to drive business & client goals

What we are looking for:

• 1 year of experience in Marketing Operations, Operations, Marketing, or similar field

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or similar 

• Experience in G Suite (google docs, google sheets, google slides) or similar software

• Detail-oriented self-starter with an eagerness to learn a variety of technical systems thoroughly and efficiently

Nice to have:

•  Experience in Braze, Marketo, or similar

• 1+ year of experience in project tools such as trello, or other project management software

• Experience interpreting data presented in dashboards such as: Mode, Looker, Datadog, and Salesforce

• Ability to match client’s business requirements with internal product capabilities

• Superior analytical skills with keen attention to detail

• A focused and self-motivated attitude

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal 

• Tinkerer in nature – likes to deep dive into technology and figure out how things work
