What We’re Looking ForObility is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager with 5+ years of marketing operations experience, preferably for a B2B tech company or digital marketing agency. The Marketing Operations Manager position is an integral role in evaluating, implementing, and managing the marketing technology systems to do their jobs effectively and provide the best quality of our work product, determining and documenting solutions to meet the needs of the clients we serve.
This role will require an innovative person who is inherently good at leveraging the data that technology creates. Someone technically savvy and a strategic thinker who is skilled at aligning teams. Building strong collaboration with the team to make sure the marketing automation data is being properly collected and connected with upstream and downstream systems. This includes making sure the team has the tools and training needed to provide the highest standard of usage of the data and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and execute on engagement roadmaps acting as lead in marketing technology in client engagementsÂ
- Translate business requirements into operational solutions that increase efficiency, scalability and accountability for our clients’ revenue organizationÂ
- Recommend and guide strategic technology selection, integration and optimization for dunthorpe clients.
- Campaign operations – Design, build and execute the buyer journey; lead scoring/lead life cycle; asset utilization; customer journey mapping
- Â Project management for marketing operations; budgets and budget tracking; marketing plan guidance
- Â Alignment with revenue operations, sales and other teams with focus on measurement and accountability; maintaining communication workflows; scheduling
- Manage contractors, through requirements documentation, QA testing, and one to one meetings as well as deadline managementÂ
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations-focused leadership role with technology company
- In-depth knowledge of marketing automation, CRM, and other relevant software, Proficiency in Marketo preferred. Hubspot, Pardot and Bizible a plus. Certifications are a big plus.
- Agency experience working directly with B2B clients preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills in client facing role
- Experience developing partnerships across multiple departments, including sales, rev ops, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills; including the ability to plan, make, and communicate sound decisions effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and cooperate with all levels of the organization.
