About the Position:
As our Marketing Operations Manager, you will be working in partnership with the Marketing, Business Systems and Revenue Operations teams to measure campaign and funnel efficiency, optimize spend, and drive process and system efficiencies to grow/scale the business.
Initial focus areas include:
- Optimizing our Marketo instance and its utilization across Marketing and Sales
- Creating campaign standard operating procedures in Marketo/Salesforce
- Establishing lead scoring/grading, lead ratings, lead routing best practices in Marketo/Salesforce
- Implementing multi-touch attribution and other reporting to drive continuous optimization
- Training key stakeholders
Additional areas of guidance and best practices to provide the Marketing team:
- Perform administrator functions such as setup of users, profile and role management and other account configurations.
- Develop and maintain responsive layout templates, personalized emails templates and triggered emails, including a/b testing and reporting.
- Email marketing compliance and subscription preferences management
As a Marketing Operations Manager you will:
- Own the marketing automation operations and drive best practice usage of the platform (Marketo) in campaign execution, lead development, nurture, and email marketing.
- Help build out and maintain Marketing Operations best practices for the lead lifecycle, attribution/reporting, lead scoring, lead routing, and campaign management.
- Align and collaborate with marketing and sales leadership on the entire marketing/sales funnel, efficiencies, establishing goals and SLAs, driving alignment on a regular cadence (attainment vs goal), and drive future optimization and scale in the lead to deal process.
- Work with content marketing and demand generation to build, operate, and optimize marketing programs.
- Work with senior leadership to segment, augment, grow the prospect database and optimize account-based marketing in collaboration with the digital marketing manager.
- Assist in driving the evolution and integrity of our marketing technology stack. Remove manual processes and steps to make the team work efficiently.
- Document the structure of our systems and lead the training and on-boarding for new team members. Mentor team members on marketing operations processes.
- Drive marketing/sales funnel optimizations leveraging tools like ZoomInfo, Salesforce and other tools working together with revenue operations.
- Manage special projects and other related work as required.
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations including experience with using Salesforce, BI tools (like Tableau), and marketing automation, specifically Marketo.
- Marketo Certified Expert
- Experience in analyzing business requirements and mapping them to technical flows.
- Understanding of Digital Marketing processes including Multi-Channel Marketing - Campaign Orchestration, Real-time Interaction, User Journeys, Nurture Workflows, etc.
- Experience in implementing digital marketing automation including data modelling, integrations, Marketing tool configuration/customization.
- Experience with Salesforce including reports, dashboards, campaigns, and in-depth knowledge of system architecture is ideal
- Certified in Salesforce is ideal
