Marketing Operations Manager, Events

This position sits on the US Content Office and is responsible for the logistics, organization and planning of IQVIA hosted events in the US. The person in this role is responsible for owning event projects with little supervision plus supporting others within the event team as needed.

The individual will have end-to-end accountability to plan and execute IQVIA meetings and events (virtual/hybrid/face-to-face) by working in collaboration with the relevant business owners, multiple stakeholders, external and in-house partners. This individual is responsible for operational planning which includes virtual platform management, supplier recommendations, relationship management, contract negotiations, budgets, creation and ownership of project plans, leading project team calls, and attendee logistics oversight.

This role will contribute to broader organization programs and company goals.

There may be some travel required to assist with on-site logistics for hosted meetings and larger, more complex events.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strong project management with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels of organizations, both internal and external
• Plan/manage hosted events - logistics, production, budget, etc.
• Source and recommend meeting format to achieve desired meeting output, suggesting new technologies as appropriate
• For in-person events - Source and recommend meeting locations & venues; Work with venues on RFPs, BEOs, A/V needs, room blocks and meeting set-up
• Create event websites and registration processes; Create events in mobile apps
• Manage event budget and identify creative solutions to find cost saving opportunities while adapting to ever-changing business needs
