Position Overview

As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our B2B tech clients implement and optimize their marketing operations using HubSpot. You will work closely with our clients' marketing teams to understand their goals, develop strategies, and implement best practices in marketing automation and lead management. You will also provide ongoing consulting, support, and training to ensure our clients are utilizing HubSpot to its full potential.

  • Type of Work: Full-time
  • Location: United States (ideally in San Diego, California!) 
  • Salary: $75,000-$95,000

High-Level Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of HubSpot for our B2B tech clients, including CRM setup, email marketing, workflows, lead scoring, and reporting
  • Collaborate with our clients' marketing teams to understand their goals, create marketing automation strategies, and develop effective lead management processes
  • Conduct thorough audits of our client's existing marketing operations and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide ongoing consultation and support to our clients, including troubleshooting, performance analysis, and optimization recommendations
  • Architect solutions to client problems and design the processes necessary to instrument HubSpot and other integrated software, to drive better business outcomes
  • Help to consult and scope solutions for prospective clients during the sales process to ensure the best outcome is prescribed and accurate expectations set
  • Deliver training and workshops to our clients' marketing teams on HubSpot best practices and marketing automation techniques
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in marketing operations, HubSpot, and other relevant technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions to our clients
  • Collaborate with other team members, including sales, design, and development, to ensure seamless integration of marketing operations with other business functions
  • Interface directly with team members & client stakeholders via Slack, video, and email.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in HubSpot, including experience with CRM setup, email marketing, workflows, lead scoring, and reporting
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing and lead management best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and team members
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment
  • HubSpot certifications (HubSpot Marketing Software, HubSpot Inbound, HubSpot Marketing Automation, etc.) 
  • Familiar with Pardot, Marketo, and other B2B enterprise marketing software
  • Experienced in Salesforce campaign creation and hierarchies, and knowledgeable of Salesforce CRM data structure
  • Experience with Miro, Lucidchart, or other diagramming tools used for presenting proposed solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
