Job Summary

The Marketing Program Manager role supports the strategic project planning and resourcing of marketing work within the business area(s) he or she serves. Working closely with leadership teams, stakeholder groups and functional working teams, the primary function of this role is to ensure that high-priority business plan initiatives are properly planned, tracked and managed through to on-time completion. This position will establish and maintain positive working relationships between teams and stakeholder groups in effort to create the best possible experience for teams while also establishing realistic scope and deadlines, communicating status and identifying and escalating risk appropriately. The Marketing Program Manager role plays a critical role in executing on effective marketing solutions that drive results.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Designs assigned plans to deliver work effectively and efficiently
  • Ensures plan progress reports accordingly
  • Identifies and effectively problem-solves risks related to the work efforts they lead
  • Adjust and communicates plan changes as necessary
  • Program/Project health tracking, management, and escalation
  • Project workflow, set up and ongoing management
  • Tool kit management, governance, and adherence
  • Formalized project & program reporting and communication
  • Project-specific budget oversight and tracking

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree/4-year degree in marketing or related-field

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

  • Related certifications such as LSS or PMP a plus

Required Work Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in marketing, account services, project or program management, or other related field. Experience in Marketing agency internal-agency environment a plus
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 06B

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after April 18, 2022 provide evidence of full or partial vaccination against COVID-19 within three days of accepting an offer letter with OneAmerica and before employment begins. If applicable, new hires must submit proof that they have received the second dose of a two dose COVID-19 vaccine within 30 days after their first dose is complete. This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
