Marketing Program Manager

Location:Exton, PA Preferred or Remote, United States

Position Summary:

The Program Manager works with the team in the execution of marketing plans and ensures plans are achieved as contemplated.

The Program Manager is responsible for maintaining the schedule and execution of plan activities. They ensure coordination of plan deliverables among team members and completion of plans on time within budget and within scope. The Program Manager establishes deadlines, documenting the campaign responsibilities while monitoring and reporting the status from start to finish.

The Program Manager engages with the cross-functional teams to ensure work is aligned to achieve the goals and objectives outlined in the Marketing plan.

Key responsibilities within this role are:

  • Support the Industry Marketing Directors (IMDs), Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), and the Corporate Programs Director (CPD) in the planning and execution of the Marketing Plan.
  • Collaborate with the DMMs on the planning and execution of campaign strategy.
  • Project management of all programs/campaigns and projects within the Marketing Plan:
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
    • Work with the IMDs, PMMs and CPD to define the program/campaign scope and objectives, including all relevant stakeholders in the definition/process.
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
    • Monitor and track the progress of the activities in the programs/campaigns.
    • Manage changes to the program/campaign scope, schedule, and costs. Communicate all changes to the team and stakeholders.
    • Measure project performance using available tools and resources.
    • Manage the relationships with external vendors and stakeholders.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Support the DMMs in tracking program/campaign performance.

  • Develop, manage, and report on Marketing Budget, reconciling monthly:
    • Work with IMDs, PMMs and CPD to manage the marketing mix and regional budget distribution based on regular analysis of marketing activities.
  • Negotiate, manage the contract approval, artwork creation, deadlines, and invoice payment of North American Advertising and 3rd Party webinar contracts.
  • Work with IMDs, PMMs and CPD to specify and finalize the content of print and online ads and marketing collateral and determine the localization plan for these materials.
  • Ensure that all current and approved marketing materials are posted in Webdam for use by marketing, sales, and channel.
  • Set up and manage campaigns in Workfront Project Management tool:
    • As a Workfront Administrator, the Program Manager will add new users, assign licenses, and provide initial instruction on Workfront use
    • Create and review task lists, due dates, projects for campaigns on weekly campaign check-in call with team stakeholders
    • Create services team project requests for web, video, writing, creative, and paid media
    • Provide dashboards and reporting to measure project performance

  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions
  • This role does not require travel
