Marketing Project Coordinator

Reports To: Project Manager

Working Hours: Regular Business Hours (8 hour shift, Monday to Friday)

Location: San Diego, CA 92101, onsite

Duration: 2 years

Status: US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD. (No visa sponsorship, no third party recruiters.)

Pay: $30 p/h, paid on W2 only, Contract work, no benefits

Work directly with our internal and external customers to support PWI press printing and print sample generation. You will operate multiple PWI Web presses. The Client Web Presses are very large industrial pieces of equipment that require hands on electrical mechanical support. You will work alongside R&D/Operation engineers that will require you to trouble shoot, diagnose press and test tooling problems, providing repairs/solutions.

As required, you'll proactively and effectively escalate issues on your customers' behalf.

  • Print sample scheduling and coordination
  • Track list of print sample needs
  • Plan internal print sample production
  • Source samples from multiple companies
  • Work with print procurement company when needed
  • Coordinate all parts of multi-step sample production process
  • Communicate progress
  • Customer demo support
  • Maintain customer meeting calendar
  • Arrange agendas and meetings

  • Coordinate PWI customer demos in conjunction with GEC manager
  • Event support
  • Track and manage marketing assets needed for events in coordination with regional stakeholders
  • Coordinate with content experts and agencies to meet deliverables on-time
  • Manage timely release of content for a variety of outlets, including internal and external websites, ABM campaigns, social media campaigns, and PR
  • Set up and tear down PWI booth at events
  • Design/Production Manager
  • Design fictional artwork for corrugated packaging applications, highlighting the capabilities of digital printing
  • Incorporate additional digital advantages (VDP, watermarking, etc.) with Client Smart Stream Designer, Mosaic, and Link technology
  • Prepress work
  • Preflight and prepare customer-provided artwork for production of print samples
  • Communicate with customers to receive files
  • Operate press to run customer print samples
  • Quality control all print samples
  • Operate press for customer demos, with the ability to quickly turn around file changes when necessary
