Marketing Project Lead
Job Description
Jockey is aspiring for a Marketing Project Lead to work as a liaison that coordinates between Jockey's in-house marketing and creative teams and the external vendors, to produce and deliver all marketing and creative projects. The Marketing Project Lead will incorporates project management, production knowledge, and process mastery.
The Marketing Project Lead sets a schedule of deadlines for the completion of all jobs and assigns resources to each necessary step in the process, monitors the progress of the project, and communicates with the appropriate parties as needed. This position is also responsible for defining process, timelines, and setting priorities.

What This Role Does:
- Acts as key point of contact for marketing projects including Product Marketing, GTM, digital and print media, and production vendors, directing resource assignments and timelines, and addressing needs as they arise.
- Foster relations with stakeholders, vendors, and creative team to understand current processes and structure to foster new perspectives and process improvements
- Responsible for defining process and identifying process breakdowns, continually reviewing, and revising procedures and objectives as needed to improve operations.
- Owns the project management system calendar (Jira), entering projects and defining timelines, and tracking progress
- Assign projects and check the statuses of outstanding tasks.
- Provide a daily priority list to go over items/tasks assigned and due for the day and determine if there are any roadblocks.
- Communicate any issues with the team, vendors, and business partners.
- Conduct weekly project status meetings to gather and share information with marketing, performance marketing, category, agencies/vendors and the business leads.
- Initiate new projects in project management system (Jira) and create timelines and tasks for the work to be done.
- Attend meetings, take notes, distribute notes & follow-ups as needed
- Traffic images, invoices and files as needed
- Teaching others our processes, tools (how to use Jira)
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working in a creative services function and/or previous experience project managing a creative services team (Apparel experience is desired)
- PMP certification desired
- Knowledge of JIRA preferred
- Knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication with strong organization and time management skills
