The marketing project management senior will develop and manage project plans that address the goals, timeframes, methodology and staffing requirements for projects with marketing impact. They will oversee projects that support the firm's marketing initiatives and ensure all projects progress on schedule and within budget. They have a natural client service approach to interactions with internal clients at all levels, marketing team members, and vendors.
The Day to Day:
- Project management: Project execution based on allocation of priorities by the Marketing Operations Lead. "Power user" of the project management system to lead and facilitate design and other projects to successful completion, adhering to budget, maintaining vendor relationships, and promoting operational excellence within the marketing team. Recommends and formulates the scope and objectives of projects. Directs and manages the overall work efforts of project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Coordinate and tracks all issues and risks on a consistent basis.
- Collateral production and innovation: Oversee the production of thought leadership, media, events, website, myCLA, emails, digital campaigns, and social media postings. Champion of brand standards in all deliverables.
- Resource management: Manage all creative resources with a "continuous improvement" mindset focusing on cycle times and innovative deliverables. Promotes a team-oriented environment by maintaining strong relationships with the project's stakeholders, which may include representatives from within or outside the firm, including marketing agencies and vendors.
- Strategic marketing guidance: Support the work of the marketing segment leads in providing strategic marketing guidance to industries, seamless, and geographies.
- Analyze project metrics / celebrate successes.
- Client service: Customer service mindset. Ability to prioritize projects and tasks and organize Workday effectively to deliver on client needs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in PC environment.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of five years related work experience in marketing communications.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Adaptable, positive and a creative thinker
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Education Required:
- Bachelors' degree in a Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Other Skills:
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft (MS) Windows and MS Office software (Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Experience with email marketing and web content management platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proof content (adhering to CLA brand and style standards).
