GENERAL PURPOSE:

This role reports into Cigna's Customer Relationship Management Direct to Customer Campaign Operations Team. Incumbent will be responsible for Project Management of the Cigna Customer Prospecting Program operational tasks and will do so by developing and managing implementation tasks and timelines, communicating timelines/deadlines to all parties involved in project including Vendors. Additionally, they will insures timelines are adhered to and will escalate any barriers in a timely fashion to keep the program on track for success. The Project Manager proactively identifies potential obstacles and solutions for the program and provides concise and timely reporting tailored to appropriate stakeholder audiences. Project Management can also include involvement in the expansion of the existing program by adding new products, new processes, and improved technology creation and rollout.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilizes established project and program methodology to develop project plans for assigned projects. Where the methodology is not sufficient, create and augment with new processes and establish best practices.
  • Develops detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Develops and maintains work plans that consider the priorities, key milestones, time estimates, task sequencing and identification of tasks that may be performed concurrently to achieve objectives.
  • Identify risks and vulnerabilities, and creates contingency plans.
  • Identify and work to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of process/productivity improvement and administrative efficiency that will lead to cost reduction and competitive analysis.
  • Resolve issues and determine contingency plans and triggers for risks. As needed, escalate issues to appropriate audiences including key business leaders and team members.
  • Partners with matrix organizations to ensure that appropriate action is taken to identify and implement initiatives.
  • Evaluates project status and resource utilization and implements changes to improve the team's effectiveness.
  • Ensures the timely and quality development and distribution of all deliverables for the project.
  • Develops and implements communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks and timely delivery of initiative results.
  • Ensures appropriate use of tools to track and monitor the financial performance of assigned projects.
  • Performs program level research and quickly responds to questions/issues.
  • Audits Client Lists, Program Counts, Missed Opportunity reports
  • Prepares final segmentation validation, budget calculations, and provides options to Project Strategy Lead when counts exceed allotted budget.
  • Participates in Data Processing Vendor contract reviews.

KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES:
  • Bachelor's Degree and three years of related work/internship experience focused on project management
  • Strong business acumen, with proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly come up to speed in new business areas and new types of projects
  • Has proven results of building and creating new structures through the use of creativity and innovation management
  • Comfortable with raising questions, issues, ideas or suggestions to co-workers at all levels across all organizations.
  • Act with a sense of urgency to research questions or issues brought by the team. Identify the right parties or resources to resolve these issues (organizational agility). Follow up with these parties to drive resolution and provide on-going feedback to individual(s) who raised the question or issue.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills - verbal and written and training, along with excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment.
  • Works well with larger groups from a wider range of organizations, as well as reporting out to senior executives.
  • Work both independently and in conjunction with co-workers of all levels.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools required: MS Excel (advanced level), MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Visio, PM software.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
  • Understanding of how campaign analytics can influence future strategy and implementation of programs
  • Knowledge of Marketing to Customers, ideally customer prospecting
  • Data licensing and data modeling understanding is helpful
  • Knowledge of Healthcare marketing

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 89,500 - 149,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
