Get to Know the Opportunity:

The Marketing Reporting Technical Analyst will report into the Voya IM Marketing Operations and Capabilities team whose primary role is to oversee the quality development and on-time delivery of Marketing Collateral as well as leveraging Marketing applications and capabilities used for this purpose. As a member of this team, the Technical Analyst will serve as one of the primary Data Management experts, responsible for translating and leveraging data for content production purposes. This includes automation and generation of Marketing Collateral used to support all Distribution (Sales) Channels, both retail and institutional. This role will work in collaboration with members of IT, Marketing, Product, and Performance. This resource will help shape and inform the data management strategy which includes leveraging their subject matter expertise in areas of data origination, data quality control, automation, problem investigation, and data translation. Role will also inform and shape the capability design for ingesting and using this data in support of content production.

The Contributions You will Make:

  • Collaborate with IT, Marketing Operations, Performance, Portfolio Management, and other internal departments on technology data initiatives, automation, template design, and collateral production.
  • Interpret and translate business needs into clear and testable requirements for IT in the development of collateral generation solutions.
  • Work with IT on testing data changes and approvals for production.
  • Leverage knowledge of data and data capabilities to provide thought leadership and innovative solutions in response to feedback from Product Marketing, Operations, Channel Marketing, Compliance, and others.
  • Attention to detail and focus on delivering results within tight deadlines and high-quality standards.
  • Work with the data management and data integrity groups to insure accurate and predictable data outcomes, resolve data concerns and create procedures for troubleshooting issues and coordinating solutions.
  • Leverage and Source data for delivery of content materials, creating necessary mappings and configurations within production tools.
  • Reverse engineer existing Coric layouts to add modifications and enhancements.
  • Create templates and processes for mass-production of standardized and custom marketing slides and other collateral.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders' status updates relative to data initiatives including problem resolution, governance gaps and deliverable time management.
  • Monitors and implements continuous process and system improvements.
  • Work independently to troubleshoot data issues, debug reconciliation problems, and manage internal data questions.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

  • College Degree and 3+ years of data management experience, preferably within financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability for analytical, problem solving, and technical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of relational data models and structure strongly desired.
  • Experience working with Simcorp Coric, or similar data driven dynamic reporting tools/platforms desired.
  • Working knowledge of SQL preferred.
  • Experience working with Seismic or similar content management solutions desired.
  • Experience working with large data sets, investment data, and analytical calculations desired.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred, but not required.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$72,000 to $90,000 USD
