Marketing Representative - Brazil

We are hiring a freelance country marketing rep for SCRUFF in Brazil.

The SCRUFF Marketing Rep will manage offline activations (events, partnerships, etc) to help establish SCRUFF as the best place for the gay, bi, trans, and queer people to connect online for friends, dates, and more.  The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, maintains deep connections to leaders and cultural institutions in their local communities, and has experience with event production and/or sponsorships.

Whether producing a social event, working with local LGBTQ+ organizations, or managing a partnership, the SCRUFF Marketing Rep will bring a mission-driven approach to all that they do.

The SCRUFF Marketing Rep is a part-time, remote position that will report directly to Marketing at Perry Street Software HQ.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the marketing team in LatAm with focus on Brasil on SCRUFF Social Media, Digital and offline Marketing, outreach strategies and building brand visibility
• Execute, coordinate and promote actions, which must be approved by the International Marketing manager, to increase App download, usage, conversion rate and profitability in Latin America, taking into account their regional characteristics and different environments (online and offline).
  • The actions will require proper staff selection and constitution of qualified working teams that will assure the quality of the projects
• Establish business and marketing relations to position the App in Brazil
• Collaborate with the social media manager to create content for social media in Latin America
• Be attentive and keep analytical thinking of the local LGBTQ marketing and competitors
• Help the marketing team to develop a social media and marketing strategy that goes in line with the company’s values, attributes  and tone of communication
• Participate in social media conversations, maintain, and ensure the success of the social media accounts
• Create and execute the Marketing plan for Brazil
• Produce or Supervise events, actions, or shootings in Brazil
• Build business and marketing linkages with other companies
• Establish connections, associations, and mutually beneficial linkages with reputable online/offline businesses, industry leaders, and influencers in order to increase visibility and improve engagement and app installs
• Provide ongoing analysis of customer trends, current market conditions, and competitor analysis
• Assist with translations when needed
• Provide weekly reports on all marketing activities
• Search ideas, tools and viral content, and be attentive to different markets and new trends that could be probably incorporated into the Marketing plan
• Offer support to the marketing manager on all media buying  accounts
• Assist with the creation of digital, print, and traditional ad campaigns

• 2+ year(s) of event production experience
• 2+ year(s) of social media management experience
• Be well connected among the local LGBTQ+ organizations
• Excellent written and spoken english
• To have as the primary residence the capital of the country you are applying for
• Highly organized with an ability to set, meet, and report on goals autonomously
