Marketing Sales Intern

Job Description

WLOS-TV is in search of a Marketing Sales Intern for the Fall Semester of 2024. This internship will provide the candidate with valuable marketing and broadcast experience, including assisting during some of our live Friday Night Rivals broadcasts. The intern will gain hands-on experience in sales and promotions department. The ideal candidate is a senior majoring in marketing, business, or communications, and is in good academic standing. Skills in graphic and video editing are a plus. While this is not a paid opportunity, academic credit is required. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and eager to learn the ins and outs of the broadcast and advertising sales industry.

Requirements:

• Must be attending an accredited college or university and studying mass communications, media, or related major
• Graduate students are eligible
• Each Intern is required to work 10-20 hours a week depending on the hours needed to receive college credit
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must receive academic credit for the internship experience
• Must be registered for college at his or her institution during the quarter or semester in which the internship is performed
• Must have reliable transportation
