Marketing - SEO Project Coordinator (NFWS)
Job Description
Position Summary/Purpose:
The student SEO Project Coordinator is key in assisting the SEO team with managing team-initiated SEO projects. The SEO projects are designed to increase organic traffic to the gcu.edu website that produces student leads for the university.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Provides day-to-day project management and accountability for SEO projects and tasks to completion using approved tools
- Assist with moving SEO projects along by following defined processes to task appropriate team members
- Correspond with full-time team members about assignments via email and other project management systems to understand timelines, delays and next steps
- Special projects as assigned, especially during summer/winter breaks.
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
- Mac Laptop
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Workamajig project management software
- ClickUp
- Azure DevOps
Qualifications:
- Current bachelor's or master's degree students enrolled in a project management, marketing, business, communications or similar program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
- Behave in a professional manner, including timeliness, and communication.
- Must be available to work a set schedule each week, though this can be adjusted with proper communication and notice to manager
- Must live in Arizona and be available to work during school summer/winter breaks.
Experience/Education:
Grand Canyon Education is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor's program or master's program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a bachelor-level student or a 3.0 GPA as a master-level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
