About the Role:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining Manufacturer Relationships and plays a critical role in fulfilling a strategic go to market plan with partners in an efficient manner as well as applying the various touchpoints required to maintaining the health of strategic and high growth partnerships within the business. Under the general direction of the Partner Marketing Manager and Operations, the Associate Partner Manager will assist and support a variety of tasks, projects, primarily around MDF attainment/processing, submissions, invoicing, tracking and reporting on Marketing financials on a regular basis.
 This position will work closely with the marketing team, BU leaders, Engineers and sales teams on a day-to-day basis in executing on all required deliverables to ensure Marketing Dollars are captured
What You’ll Do:
The Marketing Specialist will manage tasks associated with department projects to ensure quality of deliverables, accuracy of work, timely responses to client and Marketing colleague questions and feedback, and overall client satisfaction.
- Manage multiple project schedules simultaneously, working with cross-functional teammates that may include internal and/or external resources.
- Participate in the development, management, and execution of marketing and creative projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Edit, proof, and create content and corporate communication.
- Facilitate and capture action items for ongoing team meetings.
- Coordinate the creation and implementation of BU-specific marketing collateral.
- Maintain key aspects of the HUB intranet, updating and purging as needed with most recent collateral.
- Coordinate ideas and creation of partner sales tools on the HUB, such as Partner Pulse, Partner Insider, Partner HUB site.
- Assist in planning and execution of partner-driven demand gen campaigns.
- Assist with web content and copy as warranted.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Interests:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or Business is required. 1-3 years of related experience and/or training (e.g. internship) or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write copy under pressure with tight deadlines. Must be able to edit well and within AP style guidelines. Ability to create content from curated material.
- Skilled in planning and process orientation. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain Project Management instances in Marketing team portal.
- Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced organization. Sense of urgency with strong time-management skills.
- Ability to develop professional relationships with business partners as well as clients, establishing trust and potential for influence.
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Some exposure to Microsoft SharePoint and HubSpot a plus.
