Our Marketing Assistant will be a key part of Workato's marketing efforts in Japan. In this role, you will have the chance to develop and execute marketing strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a significant impact on the success of Workato as we grow the Japan market.

[Responsibilities]

  • Run Events and Campaigns: Take charge of planning, executing, and managing captivating field and partner events. 
  • Drive Growth: Work closely with Global Marketing and Regional Sales to create highly effective demand generation programs and captivating campaigns across various channels. 
  • Execute Integrated Marketing: Develop and execute an integrated marketing plan across all channels, including email, digital, paid industry programs, direct mail, and webinars. Your role will involve engaging target accounts and creating impactful content such as copywriting for landing pages, promotions, ads, case studies, and presentations.
  • Foster Localization: Identify resources to localize marketing communications, product materials, and digital assets. 
  • Measure Impact: Employ your analytical skills to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities. Your insights will guide future strategies and optimize our marketing efforts for maximum impact.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and vendors. Your ability to connect and engage with others will be critical in driving business growth.
  • Support Sales Development: Partner with the SDR team to create awareness, engagement, and follow-up campaigns. Together, you will ensure a seamless transition from marketing efforts to sales conversion.

[Requirements]

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Highly motivated to build a long term career in marketing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of B2B marketing experience. 
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, innovative company.
  • Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn.
  • Native level spoken and written Japanese and fluent in English.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Marketo.
  • Experience in an innovative tech company.
  • Experience working or studying overseas.
