Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Responsibilities
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for building market awareness and generating sales leads for our business products. The following responsibilities are expected to be met through direct, on-hands execution by the Marketing Specialist and in-house epay resources as well as through management of third-party agencies:
1. Develop and execute marketing strategies: Collaborate with Skylight, Conductor and Renewal product managers and epay leadership to create comprehensive marketing strategies and develop a marketing plan and budget that aligns with our business goals. This includes identifying target markets, conducting market research, and determining effective marketing channels.
2. Content creation and management: Create compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including website copy, social media content, email campaigns, and promotional materials. Ensure consistent messaging and brand voice for Skylight, Conductor and Renewal throughout all marketing collateral.
3. Digital marketing campaigns: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, social media advertising, and email marketing. Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and optimize strategies to maximize results. Develop a marketing calendar with an appropriate cadence of press releases, social media posts, digital mail campaigns, targeted trade show marketing and organic media publication.
a) Manage and administer campaigns for the major cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud) ensuring epay's product listings are optimized for each location.
4. Market analysis and competitive research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights. Monitor and analyze competitors' marketing activities, messaging, and positioning to identify areas for differentiation.
5. Lead generation and conversion: Collaborate with the sales team to develop lead generation strategies and implement tactics to capture and nurture leads. Optimize conversion funnels and landing pages to maximize lead conversion rates.
6. Marketing analytics and reporting: Track, measure, and analyze marketing performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics. Provide regular reports on campaign performance, ROI, and key insights to stakeholders.
7. Brand management: Support brand development initiatives and ensure consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints. Maintain brand guidelines and ensure compliance across the organization.
8. Event management: Support Skylight, Conductor and Renewal teams at industry events and conferences, including booth design, shipping logistics and the identification of speaking and other promotional opportunities to present epay and the business products from a thought-leadership perspective.
9. Website management: Ability to directly execute or manage others through the maintenance and content update process for websites built in the WordPress environment.
Requirements• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.• Proven work experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role within the technology industry. Experience with financial technology or compliance products is a plus.• Solid understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing channels, and marketing automation tools.• Proficient in content creation and management, with excellent writing and editing skills. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products is desired.• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing strategies.• Experience with SEO, PPC advertising, social media advertising, and email marketing.• Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.• Knowledge of market research techniques and competitive analysis.• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.
