Marketing Specialist
Job Description
In this role, you'll play a vital role in the Marketing team at Allegro MicroSystems, managing the public-facing processes and content tied to new product launches. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams that include product owners and technical experts, direct and channel sales leaders, training and enablement experts, and your fellow marketers to ensure that launches happen seamlessly-on time and on plan.
Responsibilities
- Lead kick-off meetings for upcoming product launches, including key stakeholders across business functions.
- Project manage launch content and planning, working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content and campaign materials are progressing according to the established timeline.
- Lead weekly launch team check-in meetings
- Personally manage external communications strategy for product launches including (but not limited to) website pages and promotions, writing and distributing press releases and customer emails, creating social media updates and calendars, pitching trade and vertical media, and managing PR agencies in EMEA and APAC.
- Oversee launch-day activities including PR/media activities, customer emails, website updates, social media, and more.
- Update key stakeholders and executive team on performance to established goals and KPIs for each launch.
- Lead post-launch post-mortems to gather feedback on successes and areas for improvement.
- Manage ad hoc requests and special projects on an as-needed basis.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or similar/related field
- Three or more years of marketing experience in a B2B environment, with prior experience launching new products
- Experienced working in a highly matrixed corporate environment
- Excellent project management and time-management skills to simultaneously drive on-time execution of multiple projects
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Prior knowledge and experience with marketing automation tools (Hubspot preferred)
- Proactive, team-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills
