Marketing Specialist
As a Marketing Specialist at Milliman, you are a key player in the ongoing success of our office. Your attention to detail will ensure brand consistency and forward thinking mindset will enhance our sales, products, and services. In this role you will have daily interactions with members of our sales staff as well clients and prospects. Through the primary responsibilities of supporting the overall marketing plan, analyzing market research for marketing campaigns, preparing various marketing materials, and assisting with upcoming events, you will bring new life to an organization's health plan. Keys to success in this role include balancing multiple projects at once, interacting with people of varied personalities and communication styles, continually enhancing the resources we offer, and supporting sales success. This position will be required to work on-site in our Omaha, Nebraska office. Some of the specific duties are listed below:
- Gather and analyze market research to formulate strategic marketing campaigns to increase sales and revenue growth.
- Measure results of marketing campaigns and make necessary changes to maximize future success.
- Plan content development, writing, graphics, and roll-out of marketing materials and marketing campaigns.
- Leverage CRM software to support sales prospecting efforts.
- Maintain understanding of current developments and changes in group insurance.
- Conceptualize and design marketing materials including websites, promotional pieces, brochures, presentations, advertising and internet marketing components.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to assess, conceptualize, develop and implement new marketing concepts and initiatives that enrich our brand and win new business.
- Assist with design and implementation of market research to formulate strategic marketing campaigns, measure results and make adjustments to maximize future success.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.A. in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Over 2 years of marketing work experience preferred, but not required.
- Insurance experience preferred, but not required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional marketing, networking and communication skills.
- Ability to portray a professional image consistent with Milliman's role as a consultant with phone calls, e-mails, and other correspondence.
- Ability to work independently within a team-based consulting environment.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service and operations teams to improve the customer experience.
- Strong skills with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Use of CRM systems (Zoho prefered) to manage relationships, create and execute acquisition and retention email campaigns.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills, particularly computer programs, and offer input.
- Experience with graphic design software including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and other programs within Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to design and layout of websites, e-newsletters, landing pages, blogs and mobile apps.
- Skills developing the overall layout and production of both print and electronic visual materials including brochures, newsletters, advertising, direct mail, interactive media, multimedia projects and internet material.
