Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Reports to: Marketing DirectorPosition SummaryÂ
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist with a background in medical device marketing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting a range of marketing programs and activities aligned with the company’s business objectives and commercial initiatives. The role requires a proactive, motivated marketing professional who is excited about contributing to the rapid growth of novel endoscopic procedural therapies for type 2 diabetes and obesity while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Â
Primary ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Collaboration: Work closely with commercial, clinical, regulatory, legal, and medical affairs teams to align execution of marketing programs with clinical trial activities and broader business objectives.Â
- Campaign Management: Support successful execution of clinical trial recruitment and commercial marketing campaigns, including program planning, budget management, and performance analysis.Â
- Content Development: Collaborate with internal and external partners to create engaging materials, including websites, brochures, videos, and other marketing tools.Â
- Congress and Event Support: Coordinate and support presence at industry congresses and company-led events. Â
- Data Analysis: Update and analyze metrics to measure program effectiveness and ensure a feedback loop to enhance marketing practices.Â
- Market Research: Support market research programs to analyze provider and patient behavior, trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.Â
- Budget Management: Assist in monitoring and providing reports to help ensure strategic use of resources.Â
- Perform all activities in compliance with applicable regulations, Fractyl’s policies and guidelines, including, but not limited to, timely documentation of activities and maintaining all required applicable training. Â
- Bring a “can do” spirit to work and deliver on other responsibilities as assigned. Â
 Education or Certification RequirementsÂ
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.  Â
Professional Work ExperienceÂ
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working in a marketing, with a good understanding of marketing principles and practices. Â
- Applicable experience in biotech, pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries preferred. Â
- Prior vocational experience in related fields a plus (i.e. Co-Ops, Internships, etc.). Â
- Graphic Design experience is a plusÂ

Travel
- U.S. based travel from time to time as needed and assigned.Â
