Marketing Specialist
Job Description
BlueChip is a fast growing fintech company serving the underserved customer segment and is seeking a creative, curious, and organized Marketing Manager to help develop, execute, and manage our Direct-to-Consumer marketing efforts for Spotloan.com and any other go-to-market brands used for BlueChip's online lending platform.
This contributor will:
- Demonstrate tremendous independent ownership as the driver of marketing execution
- Develop strategies and tactics to boost the company's reputation and drive qualified traffic
- Deploy and manage successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
- Nerd out on marketing trends and experiment with various organic and paid acquisition efforts
- Consistently challenge and impact all aspects of the marketing plan to ensure optimal performance
In this role, you will
- Develop and manage omni-channel marketing campaigns through a myriad of channels including but not limited to paid advertising, direct marketing, search engine marketing, and content marketing to attract new customers
- Learn and understand BCF's customer base and behavior to align marketing and brand practices, and innovate new solutions to reach them
- Produce engaging creative, messaging, and content across all marketing efforts
- Work with analysts to develop appropriate reporting tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure appropriate due diligence, documentation, and risk management of marketing activity
- Establish and manage relationships with marketing vendors to help execute marketing plan and strategy
- Contribute to crafting, implementing, and optimizing a full-funnel customer experience, from acquisition to retention
- Immerse yourself in marketing trends and suggest new marketing channels to grow and optimize BCF's direct to consumer marketing efforts
Requirements
- 4-6 years consumer marketing experience, preferably in online products; financial services experience a plus
- In-depth understanding of the marketing ecosystem and how various components, channels, and tactics work together and impact each other
- Proven experience creating, managing, and optimizing paid media campaigns, direct marketing campaigns, and websites
- Extremely curious disposition and the insatiable need to not only figure out how things work and why they work that way, but to improve the foundation and results
- Impressive problem solving skills, both critical and creative
- Highly organized with a strategic and proactive mindset, constantly thinking three steps ahead
- A good sense of aesthetics and a love of crafting great copy and messaging
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working with numbers and making sense of performance metrics in order to make recommendations for optimized marketing strategies to balance growth and profitability
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
