Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist for Key Mortgage marketing reports to the business unit's Director of Marketing and works closely with members of its sales department, as well as the organization's in-house marketing department. Their primary role is to provide support and coordination for all marketing programs and campaigns, with essential duties including creating project briefs, coordinating the prioritization and execution of projects, and delivering on multiple projects concurrently. Equally important is their ability to deepen their understanding of the mortgage business, its salespeople, their referral partners, and their clients, in order to provide valuable input and higher quality deliverables across all aspects of marketing and communications efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the timely delivery of a wide variety of projects
  • Interpret strategy briefs written by the Director of Marketing and turn into actionable plans
  • Act as the day-to-day client contact, focused on execution and project coordination
  • Ensure client issues are dealt with in a timely and effective manner, keeping all informed throughout the process
  • Provide regular communications between the client and internal teams
  • Lead status meetings with clients and ensure project delivery in line with expectations
  • Maintain continuous knowledge of project status to identify and mitigate potential issues
  • Oversee and maintain marketing platforms, including adding new content and deleting old
  • Communicate with the business when there are new releases and launches of materials
  • Able to leverage CMS systems to make updates and changes to the website
  • Oversee recurring projects, such as newsletters, training videos, media, etc.
  • Manage multiple vendor, supplier, and other outside resource relationships
  • Oversee the production of all major marketing materials and ensure they are updated
  • Maintain competitor database, including profile, market share, and advertising strategy
  • Drive creation of marketing training videos and deliver on a predetermined schedule
  • Own drip of repromotion of existing, but impactful materials on a schedule
  • Manage social media platforms based on a content strategy, analyze reports and offer suggestions based on findings
  • Assist with copy review and proofing, as well as original content creation as needed
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of marketing communications experience
  • Experience with mortgage/financial services or real estate marketing environment preferred
  • Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills, as well as planning abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with competing priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication, as well as interpersonal and client service skills
  • Proficiency with Macs and PCs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and the Google Platform
  • Experience with marketing research and reporting is desirable
  • Manage projects and programs in a professional manner with a very high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and copywriting, editing, proofing skills a plus
  • High energy and initiative, able to work individually and with teams with minimal direction
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to increase knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant social media platforms
