Marketing Specialist

This role will be part of a 24-month rotational program and will gain experience and exposure within the various marketing teams within our Americas organization at Allegion. Allegion provides a unique experience given we have a strong B2B and B2C business. In addition, Allegion is undergoing a shift into a technology company collaborating with many leading IoT platform participants. During the two-year program, the Marketing Specialist will rotate through our Field/Channel Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Commercial Marketing, and Software Solutions Marketing teams. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with our product, sales, demand generation and creative services teams; and customers, to deliver communications, content and tools that drive growth. What You Will Do:

• Participate in four 6-month rotations across our marketing teams within both the B2B and B2C space: Field/Channel Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Commercial Marketing, and Software Solutions Marketing
• Support the execution of our go-to-market strategy, product launch execution and segment-specific initiatives
• Customer-facing experience through lead generation efforts, fielding inbound customer inquiries, and enablement of new product/enhancements
• Support portfolio of channel enablement tools including presentations, sell sheets, collateral and competitive positioning
• Perform market analysis of targeted market and customer segments
• Develop an understanding via market research of market personas that efficiently and effectively communicates within their context and style
• Assist in the development of workbooks, training, and collateral to support adoption of new processes and utilization of market insights
• Support commercialization activities of assigned programs and NPD (New Product Development) projects
• Understand business and market dynamics that drive the product, service, and brand selection in targeted channels which will provide a general understanding of Commercial customer channels and go-to-market paths
• Focused special projects as assigned partnering with internal stakeholders and marketing agency

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field
• Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative e.g. school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects, etc.
• Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques
• A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion's business and customers
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• High energy, enthusiasm, and positivity
• Strong written and oral communications skills; fluency in written and conversational English
• Strong willingness to learn and apply learnings
• Position will start June 2023
