WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Our Marketing Team is looking for a Marketing Specialist with outstanding organizational, time management and communication skills. This individual should be creative, detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of various traditional and digital marketing tactics. Top candidates will have a knack for wearing multiple hats, strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.


Our ideal candidate is a highly efficient and organized person, an excellent project manager and a selfless team player. The Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with various departments.


DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Trade Show Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tradeshow planning & operations.
  • Managing budgets and negotiating contracts.
  • Coordinate shipping and delivery of products or materials, schedule meetings with vendors or clients, manage booth staffing schedules, etc.
  • Managing accommodation logistics and registration.
  • Securing the booth space, planning the layout, and liaising with vendors to comply with booth requirements.
  • Promoting the show through marketing channels such as social media, emailers, and advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinating the logistical requirements such as equipment rentals, and catering services.
  • Running the floor to ensure the event operates smoothly.

 

Marketing Operations Responsibilities:

  • Manage SambaSafety’s social media presence, monitor platforms for customer engagement and brand mentions and maintain updated and engaging profiles.
  • Develop monthly reports to track the performance of digital marketing campaigns, including website traffic, leads, marketing attribution, digital ad performance, social media engagement and more.
  • Own the company’s WordPress website, including updating the site, uploading weekly blog posts and ensuring all website conversions are being properly tracked
  • Assist Marketing Operations with campaign testing, database management and the execution of new marketing campaigns in our automation platform
  • Create supporting assets: Custom UTM’s, emails, landing pages, smart campaigns, reports, etc..
  • Monitor key marketing KPI’s and provide recommendations for lead attribution, pipeline metrics, cross channel marketing, and general marketing operations

THE EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience working with tradeshows
  • Experience using WordPress, Adobe Suite, Google Analytics and social media scheduling software (think Hootsuite or Sprout Social) preferred
  • Experience using marketing automation software is a huge plus, with even more bonus points going to those who have used Marketo
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels and best practices, including social, digital and email marketing
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint

Salary range: $75,000- $85,000
