Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will advance the Bankers Trust mission by strategically planning, developing and executing marketing initiatives. The person in this position will develop and lead relationships and collaborate closely with business units (such as Commercial, Consumer and Wealth Management) to achieve company and sales objectives. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with team members to promote business lines through traditional and digital channels. The person in this role will help mentor other team members, which could include Marketing Coordinators, interns, etc. The Marketing Specialist will work as part of a team and also independently to develop and drive marketing initiatives that promote, enhance and protect the bank's reputation and growth goals.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with business unit representatives to gain a deep knowledge of products and services that ensure consistent and effective marketing efforts

• Build excellent working relationships and serve as the primary Marketing contact with the bank's Consumer, Commercial and/or Wealth Management teams to help them meet or exceed their growth goals

• Work closely with designated business unit teams to develop and deliver requests for proposals to retain or gain customers

• Develop and deliver strategic marketing and communications plans and tactics (traditional and digital) that support the bank's goals, with a focus on more complex business lines; ensure efforts are delivered on-time and on-budget

• Help mentor other team members, which may include Marketing Coordinators, interns, etc.

• Consistently collaborate with your leader and other Marketing and Communications team members on marketing and communications opportunities and challenges

• Deliver outcome-driven marketing campaigns and seek continuous improvement

• Collaborate on and help drive marketing automation and personalization initiatives using available data

• Deliver ongoing reporting to demonstrate the effectiveness and value of work delivered

• Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

• College degree in Marketing, Communications or Business

• 3-5 years of experience in Marketing field

• Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Ability to manage and stay within a given budget

Knowledge of banking products a plus
