Job Description:

BlackBerry is seeking a Marketing Team Intern to assist with our growth marketing team. During this 4-month program, you will report directly to the Director of Growth Marketing and work alongside a team of Marketing professionals to help execute multiple projects. These projects will vary but may include assisting with digital marketing strategies and developing content. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in Marketing career to build your resume and gain hands-on experience with building and executing Marketing programs. You also have an opportunity to cross-train within marketing departments including design, events, and social media.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the head of growth marketing across multiple programs

• Create and manage budgets, purchase orders and payments.

• Work with the Content Marketing team on content conception, development and program management

• Attend weekly intern/mentor meetings and attend career development workshops to gain professional skills and develop your resume.

• Create a comprehensive presentation about your summer project(s) and present to managers, mentors and leadership at end of program.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to work full-time (40 hours a week) for entire program

• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook

• Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Must have strong attention to detail, and organizational/time-management skills

• Must be willing to take initiative and be flexible to work on a variety of projects/tasks as assigned
