Marketing Specialist

Summary:

Reporting to the Marketing Planning & Operations Manager, the Marketing Specialist will manage the sponsorship and partnership program, in coordination with internal partners. The Marketing Specialist will also manage the Pro Team program (outdoor influencers). The Marketing Specialist will ensure alignment across marketing channels (eg. flyer, social media, email, etc.) for promotional events, campaigns and relationship management for Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Canada. This includes verifying messaging and imagery on channel assets for consistency, brand tone and relevancy of market. The Marketing Specialist will also work as part of a team to plan and coordinate campaigns for influencer programs.

Location: Corporate office - 25 De Baets St., Winnipeg. This is a hybrid role with 2 days of remote work and 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Review sponsorship and partnership requests and evaluate against organizational pillars
• Coordinate execution of sponsorships and partnerships
• Day-to-day relationship management with Pro Team members
• Coordinate with Pro Team to create assets for digital platforms and review for brand alignment
• Review campaign assets for accuracy, consistency and relevancy
• Work with a team to source and coordinate influencers for campaigns

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
• 3-5 years of experience working in a related marketing field
• Experience and knowledge in sponsorships an asset
• Adapts to change in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented and organized
• Ability to prioritize work and manage time well
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms and influencers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
