Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for collaboration between the EIS Marketing team and the various departments across our business units for event and tradeshow management, promotional assets ordering and tracking, content gathering and writing, fulfillment of literature, tradeshow assets, promotional items, customer gifts, and more. This role will ensure events and operations are efficient, effective, and drive desired results. The Marketing Specialist will frequently work with stakeholders within the marketing department, and in other areas including ecommerce, product management, trade show organizations, and agencies.

This is a hybrid position with flexible remote and in office work. Applicants must be local to our Atlanta, GA headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Assists with and maintains a comprehensive tradeshow and event handbook outlining all tasks, logistics, and timelines

• Assists with coordinating and managing the execution and logistics of tradeshows and events to achieve business objectives including tracking show registration, payment, booth and assets needs, promotion, and overall budget for trade shows and events

• Coordinate and track outbound shipping of all gifts, employee apparel, and tradeshow materials while maintaining a robust inventory tracking system

• Manage ordering and budget of promotional items and employee apparel

• Maintain agency relationships to ensure all deadlines are met and payments are received

• Assist with content gathering and writing for collateral such as website updates, brochures, newsletters, and advertisements

• Assist with marketing campaign content ideation and creation to support company directives

• Assist in maintaining editorial and social media calendar

• Work with internal stakeholders to identify and develop new marketing opportunities

• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks and additional activities as needed, including brand strategy and guideline adherence and internal marketing communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

• 2-3 years of experience in marketing, marketing communications or sales operations; or equivalent combination of education/training experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong project management, planning and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Experience utilizing marketing tools such as Monday.com, SugarCRM and/or marketing automation platforms preferred
