GrayMatter Robotics is looking for a Marketing Specialist based in the Los Angeles area to join our growing Marketing team. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting the marketing team in the development and implementation of a wide scope of marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be involved with a wide scope of content development projects (written and visual), social media, website updates, events, sales collateral, lead generation campaigns, and marketing project management. You'll get experience in all aspects of marketing, from digital advertising, content creation, content marketing, social media, website management, marketing collateral, trade shows, special events, community outreach, sponsorships, and PR.
To be successful in this role, you should be results-driven, highly organized, a team player, have an interest in robotics and AI, have a general understanding of B2B tech marketing, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work against tight deadlines within a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:
Overall
- Coordinates master marketing calendar and helps to project manage marketing initiatives.
- Collaborates, plans, and helps to develop corporate and product marketing content requirements such as video, images, and written content.
- Manages trade show logistics and event calendar and assists with speaking engagements.
- Tracks and reports performance of digital marketing campaigns, events, website, and social media
- Plans and coordinates marketing status meetings with the executive team
- Monitors the industrial robotics industry, understands trends, and tracks competitors' marketing efforts and offerings.
- Internal project management and coordination, prioritizing and escalating as warranted.
- Manages social media content calendar and assists in content creation, posting, and performance reports.
- Manages media/PR database
- Assists with sales enablement projects
- Collaborates with SMEs from each business unit on various projects.
Content/Collateral
- Assists with content development (written, images, and video) for various sales and marketing materials and coordinates review and approval with business groups.
- Helps to develop and manage editorial/content calendar in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Helps to coordinate vendors and contractors on various projects.
- Manages collateral inventory for updating, new additions, supply, and sunsetting.
Demand Generation
- Uses marketing automation platform to help coordinate the development of landing pages, email marketing campaigns, reporting, and helping to reconcile records in our CRM.
- Assists with campaign content creation, coordination with design and web development, publishing, and performance tracking
Social Media
- Manages the company's social media content calendar
- Assists with profile management, content development, curating visual content, and posting to profiles
- Tracks and reports on all social media profiles
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field/experience.
- Demonstrated general marketing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google products
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Some familiarity with WordPress and/or other content management systems.
- Working knowledge of marketing and professional services automation tools such as HubSpot, SemRush, and Google Analytics
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess high personal standards of excellence.
