Job Description

The Marketing Specialist for the Indirect Channel is accountable for devising a cohesive marketing and event plan that aligns with business objectives and positions for the Indirect Sales Channel and its partners. Responsibilities include understanding audiences, implementing revenue-driving marketing strategies, overseeing internal and external communications, fostering partnerships, maintaining brand strategy, budget monitoring, and collaborating across teams. This role involves crafting unique messaging, managing stakeholders, contributing to strategy meetings, ensuring brand coherence, supporting lead generation, and reviewing social media content. The ideal candidate should be dynamic, innovative, collaborative, and possess exceptional stakeholder management abilities.
What You'll Do
  • Provide input to create a comprehensive marketing/event strategy that aligns with the goals and positioning of the business
  • Responsible for learning and understanding audiences and brand requirements
  • Ensures implementation of marketing strategies designed to drive topline revenue and share-of-wallet goals
  • Assist with all internal and external communication and digital presence, including but not limited to website, third party newsletters, technology service distributor portal, and social media while maintaining brand integrity
  • Interact and build relationships within the channel to create synergies and meaningful partnerships
  • Implement and maintain brand strategy across the business including brand assets, sales enablement and other customer external and internal facing marketing materials
  • Assist in monitoring budget accruals, forecast and spend
  • Collaborate regularly with product management, sales leaders, Agent Channel Managers, Referral Program Managers, local marketing and Cox Business affiliated brands to drive targeted growth and customer retention
  • Prepare solution positioning and messaging that differentiates us in the channel and resonates with our distributors and agents, ultimately the end customer too
  • Requires an energetic, creative and collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder management
  • Actively participate in reoccurring Sales and Marketing Strategy Meetings to articulate the most up to date marketing strategy and implementation details
  • Serve as brand guardian/liaison, verifying all marketing reflects brand voice
  • Support group lead generation efforts
  • Assist in reviewing social media content calendar
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are
Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience in a related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, consistently demonstrating high level or organization
  • Requires strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization

Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline strongly desired (Marketing, Communication, or related field)
  • Experience with social media, web content, and in telecommunications or technology industry

USD 57,800.00 - 86,800.00 per year
