We're looking for a Marketing Specialist on our growing Infrastructure team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual, with a background in marketing or commerce-a team player who can communicate effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and thrive in a deadline driven environment. We're looking for someone who can help us reinforce our strategy with metrics, analytics, best practice sharing, and improve the productivity of our marketing and business development teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Stantec's internal systems for information management related to people and projects, pursuits, and business development activity
• Champion the use of technology, tools, and processes to improve our sales, marketing and client data
• Prepare reports, research, and data insights to aid in the success and effectiveness of our marketing and business development programs
• Work closely with our technical staff, marketing, and business development teams to support our business development and marketing operations with compelling messages, information, and insights
• Assist with proposal writing, strategy, and development for a variety of services and sectors.
• Prepare thoughtful, high-impact, and engaging pursuit and marketing content which highlight our depth of experience, expertise, and creativity
• Contribute to Stantec's internal and external communications networks

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Experience with CRM tools, Excel, and PowerBI or other analytics tools
• Knowledge of and passion for digital marketing and data-driven decision making
• Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies
• Must thrive working in a deadline-driven environment

Education and Experience

• Post-secondary degree in marketing, commerce, communications, or an equivalent level of experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a marketing-related field.
• Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Consulting or other professional services industry is an asset.
